New Sewing Box

Orla is really getting into sewing and in John Lewis today there happened to be a nice sewing box on at half price. So Mum's old gold card sewing box (which is really just a box) is now redundant!

We enjoyed watching this fascinating video by Veritasium on YouTube about how sewing machines work.

We are in the midst of an arctic freeze at the moment. The temperature was down to -7 and didn't get above zero all day.

It was Denise's last day today.
