Mystical island

It was a beautiful day here, the weather lovely, sunny and warm, wow, we actually hit 26'C ! yippee summer may be here at last.

I had the day off work and did a load of work at home and must admit to spending a fair wee while on Blipfoto as I hadn't been on for weeks, so downloaded / back blipped a few blips. I should have gone outside and enjoyed the sun but my conscience got the better of me- as always!

S came back from school with her back all sunburnt as she was watching the school sports all morning, took off her shirt and spent the day in a "strappy" top. No hot water bottle required to keep her warm tonight then.

As the evening drew in, we went to the river and noticed the good old Edinburgh Haar moving in over the River Forth into the city - hee hee, see if you lived on the outskirts you can sometimes avoid it.
The river became a mystical scene with the boats sailing past along side Inchkeith Island which is just visible - Brigadoon eat yer heart out!
