Craw and sun

Though still coughing, Dave felt sufficiently recovered to go up to the allotment and attend to the bird feeders - he managed to get some water into their bowl at least. I went for some messages at the big Meadowbank Sainsbury's for a change - very uninspiring, but I bumped into two pals, one while crossing the road from the bus stop and the other in the store itself.

While waiting for the bus home I was looking across the road at a crow sillhouetted on a tree, cawing vigorously. Although it was straight into the sun I risked a couple of snaps as I thought he might show up well. Forgot that I was wearing my snap-on shades, and so the sun was somewhat more dazzling than I realised. And didn't catch the crow in mid-caw either. Oh well, I'm not going outside again, it'll have to do!
