Huskies

This morning we went out with the huskies which was a lot of fun.   We drove through some stunning frozen forest scenery.

I was hoping for an Aurora shot tonight.   The prospects looked really good with a strong geomagnetic and solar wind activity.

Sadly there was a layer of cloud.   We were taken out to a likely viewing spot but we were actually in the cloud at times.   `We could see a vague green colour through the mist but it was generally very disappointing.  Extra shows the green cloud we were looking at
