Wet orchid

Soaking wet orchid. I think it's an Early purple - but it's certainly soaking.
Soaking wet morning.

Optimistically went for a walk in the woods while it was dry. It didn't last. Routed home via the most covered parts but it was still time for a hairwash and a shower and a hot drink.

I've been watching a battle by my bird table over the past few days. One aggressive youngster has been rushing at any blackbird in sight and driving them away. I can't decide if it is a young thrush. Help please ?
