The long and winding road

Haircut this morning and so, now being able to see where I was going and needing the exercise, I decided to head up country for a walk and a photograph of the "kissing trees" as they are known round these parts. It was a lot farther than I remembered, although that might be because I was driving at the time. When I eventually got back home a start was made on the Torte Del Pastore aka Italian Shepherd's Pie it said in the recipe. Very appropriate I thought, considering where I'd been and the number of sheep I saw on my walk...
