Compstall Post Office...

...and new(ish) Gift Shop.

Love this building and upon leaving Etherow Park yesterday I noticed the light was nice for a pic.

To the left of the post office is a gift shop in the 'hole in the wall'. Am aware of it's round doors but have never seen them open previously but it's nice to see the space occupied. The post office is a thriving little place so maybe they have expanded.

Will have to investigate further. The wall is retaining the higher ground behind which forms a corner of a churchyard.
