Now staying with M&C in a converted church - built in 1880’s - in Alton - a hamlet just outside Ashford - Derbyshire - nearest shop - pub and restaurant 1.5 miles away - after picking up provisions in Matlock was dark upon arrival so blip of plaque in welcoming hallway - sentiments I endorse and the welcome tray had home made cake!
