Impatient for the impatiens

This poor plant was one that a teacher friend had last year. She was not a plant person and left it in front of an open window when the temp was below freezing. Most of the plant froze. I took it with me when I left the school and it's never recovered very well and looks really bedraggled. But today I noticed it actually has a flower!!
It was very cold and gloomy today, overcast with no sun. I decided we should turn on the heat lamps for the chicken and ducks. They've had several days of below freezing temps and without the sun they have a hard time warming up. So now they are quite comfortable.
Tomorrow I'll turn the lamps off as it will be sunny and I'm sure everyone will want to get out. Dan will put Patty in the mini-green house and she will get some sun too.
