Ceramic art - ‘The Town Mosaic Collage no 21’

Made by Paul Scott of Cumbrian Blue - some years ago. John met Paul when discussing a heating system, they later formed Cumbria Organic Gardeners and Farmers and have remained friends. The dish tells a story of Paul’s visit to Crete when researching ceramic works of art in the 80’s, he has since climbed that greasy pole becoming a renowned artist holding exhibitions all over the world. At one time, when I first became a member of bf, he was a blipper, I think life became too busy, a shame, his travels would be interesting to follow.

The dish was wrapped in a blanket and placed somewhere safe when our little band of kittens arrived 5 years ago, John has recently placed it back on to the sideboard, fingers crossed the little ones ignore it.
