Round the shore (Day 3177)

In to town in the new truck first thing this morning to get the weekly shopping done. Back home to unpack, then  my beautiful wife drove us through to Stromness. We dropped Sigyn at Mum and Dad's and collected the old truck then headed to our summer grazing field. For the first time in forever the ground was just about dry enough to drag our storage caravan out of the field and move it to hard standing at the farm steading. It takes ages to do and neither of us look forward to doing it. Surprisingly, it went reasonably well.
Along to the horses next and after persuading them that they wanted to be caught, we walked them down to "fresh" grazing.
Back to Mum and Dad's for lunch, then HV did a bit more sorting out of hoss stuff while Sigyn and I had a wander round the shore. The wind was on the increase and it felt very cold despite the continuing thaw.
