Emptying the kitchen

We learnt at lunchtime today that a decorator is coming tomorrow to put right the damage caused by the leak in the flat above ours on 18th October last year. Mr hazelh immediately sprang into action to clear the kitchen so that the ceiling and walls are all accessible for repainting. I assisted him. 

Our study is now crammed with items that don't belong there. On my desk, for example, is a shoal of glug jugs, all our Highland Stoneware, our Dalek biscuit barrel, and various vases (blipped).

I spent the rest of the day on Marina's PhD, then cooked a mushroom, squash and gnocchi bake for supper.

Exercise today: none (other than 6,784 steps indoors).
