Sunday: Storm Isha …

… arrived early afternoon, breezy to begin with - I’d put some washing out to dry and it did but I had to dash out in the heavy rain to fetch it!

Weather worsened as the afternoon went on, howling gale by 7pm which is forecast to be here until tomorrow morning - totally hate the wind :-(((

I’d planned a little treat for us - the Actifry apple cake, using some of our stock of last year’s Bramley cooking apples, today’s Blip, they’re not pretty but the cake is delicious -

And there’s lots of bits of apple for the birds tomorrow :-))

Refilled the bird feeders a few times, when the wind became ferocious I scattered seeds on the ground for the birds, it’s a very long and wild night, my thoughts are out there with them and I hope they’re all safe …
