A chess game lasts on average for a stronger amateur about 3.5 hours. And what are you going to do once you've eaten after the party? That's right: a game of chess for fun!
The gentlemen here at the table (86 and 87 years old and here every year) do not speak each other's language at all, and yet they do: on the chessboard they understand each other completely, but they cannot ask if the other person wants a cup of coffee without someone to translate it.
And when this game was over, they both sat down for the next game, against the two youngest (14 and 16) in the house. Chess players? They just keep going!

S played a very nice draw today, partly because of something E found out before the game. E has 1,5 out of 3 points. The boys still enjoy the time here.
