Tunnel vision

A somewhat frustrating day.

A quick round trip into Cambridge this morning to deliver Martin's car to the Audi garage took an hour and a half because of a serious accident (I hope the people involved are OK), and the rest of the day has been characterised by little disappointments and worries.

A trip to the dentist today has followed quickly on from an contact lens eye appointment yesterday, and a diabetic review last week.  Today I got an invitation for an NHS bowel cancer screening now I'm so old and it's all such a stark reminder that health can no longer be taken for granted!

Thankfully I don't often feel like this and have a happy thing planned for tomorrow.
