The morning after

Thank you for all the kind thoughts yesterday. 

It was a l-o-n-g late night, but the rain stopped about 11pm, with the water still 3 inches below the door. The new 'puddle pump' emptied it from our open porch (which has a lower floor than the house) as quickly as it came in... And also pumped it out of the garage this morning.
Sadly after the rain came the winds, and yet again, with the ground saturated, a couple of the Hall's big old trees were toppled, such as shame as many are a few hundred years old.

By lunch today all the water was gone from the garden, so just had to relocate things and help nice neighbour rake a few tonnes of stone chips back to where they should be.
