White kitchen walls and ceiling

The decorator returned today to finish the job of painting our kitchen walls and ceiling. It now all looks lovely, fresh, and new! Mr hazelh is very relieved that the job is complete and very happy with the outcome (blipped). (See yesterday's blip for comparison.)

While the decorator was here, our access to various parts of the house was limited again. Today we enjoyed the novel experience of eating lunch at a table at our bedroom window (with garden view). 

In terms of my activities today, I finished marking up Marina's PhD thesis and typed up some narrative feedback for her (just over eight dense pages of text), and braved the rain just before lunch for a (fast for me) 7k run. 

Exercise today: 7k run; walking (13,016 steps including run).
