Hungry visitors

We have always known there were Long-Tailed-Tits around but they spend most of their time in big groups in the hedgerows around us. They are mainly seed eaters, but in the cold weather they have taken to coming to us for food. And we are delighted.

They come in a group - this morning we counted at least ten, some on the feeders and some on the bird table. I was surprised that I was able to open the door and take a few photos before they were off. There wasn't much light though. We haven't had much light all day. A dark, damp day . . . and now the wind is getting up again.
