A Day In The Life

Ocean View

We traveled south to York for a morning appointment, purposely arriving early to take in the ocean views at the harbor, wiggly bridge then Long Sands (pictured). Look closely and you’ll spot Portland Light off in the distance. Remnants of recent storms were visible along the coastline. Man-made mountains of seaweed dotted the shore dwarfing early dog walkers, likely collected by a backhoe; stones and rocks from the beachside were now strewn and piled along the opposite side of the street, even collecting in flower boxes and atop wooden porch steps. Lots of cleanup work to do before the tourists arrive • Some of you may recall the nine year old Maine girl with terminal cancer requesting cards for her tenth birthday. Last weekend I read she received over 10,000 cards and gifts from around the world :)) • Peace & Love
