the start of a 'killer' week! - but it's all good!

as per usual, up early doors. no rest for the wicked! me and Pete were off and out over the fields...the day looks promising with the blue skies, but i doubt it will last.

home by 9am, and out by 9.30am off to work into the office for some maintenance for a couple of hours. bonus in that they finish by 11am so i treat myself to a wander round the shops! work in Nottingham and Brum but never have time to venture out and shop! so....holiday Pjs and new 'deluxe' travel bag from M&S, courtesy of vouchers!

home for lunch at mum's with Pete and KR. Pre-killers ham salad cobs (ditch the salad for KR). Stressed out call from IOM and Bro saying we are crazy to not be setting off earlier to the Killers gig...v funny!

set off at 3pm, and we glided down to the smoke (obeying all speed signs and limits and restrictions along the way!). Parked at Stanmore, tube to Wembley, pitchside by 6pm. James on stage shortly after, followed by Gaslight Anthem, and then the main event....The Killers! awesome!!

they get better everytime i see them, and it must be 6 or 7 times now. Great to see the Dawns, Wayne, Lee and Nick there too. they'd been on it like a bonnet!

Gig over, and then the journey home, and hour to get to the car, and then a stop at Toddington for a Burger King, and then home.....speed restrictions adhered to. 3am, and its Zzzzzz....top day
