Slippery

The sign on the post says, 'Jetty is slippery when wet.'  Of that there is no doubt.  This is Ashness jetty on Derwentwater.  The day started grey and this was correct all the way down Borrowdale, but on the way back the sun shone.  A big change from the previous two days.  There was evidence of flooding on the road especially around Rosthwaite where an abandoned car (marked by warning cones) was in the road.  At Surprise View the wind blew loudly through the trees.
