View from Cheesefoot Head

Cheesefoot Head is the first major landmark on the South Downs Way, heading east from Winchester. The bowl of land is the location for the large annual music festival, Boomtown.

I walked from here to Cheriton and back. A walk of two halves, downhill and quite warm outwards and blustery and grey coming back.

Extra is a lichen encrusted bench in Cheriton churchyard.
