Minotaur

I have posted Michael Ayrton's Minotaur sculpture before, when he was still on the now-demolished Barbican Highwalk.  But he does look rather wonderful in his more recent location in St Alphage Gardens with a slice of the Roman/Medieval city walls behind him to the left.

The extra shows the aconites in Bunhill Row Cemetery this afternoon.  MrHCB and I have spent a lot of time and money buying, planting and nurturing aconites in our gardens, first in Wiltshire and now in Oxfordshire, but every one died.  What were we doing wrong?
