Wishful thinking
A grisly damp dark day weather-wise, I am pining for some sunshine. The blue here is a bit of wishful blue cloud fartnarkling - the wetness is all too real. Thanks to Ingeborg for Keeping Abstract Thursday going - patterns the theme for today.
A useful sort of morning though and I caught up with myself and got a few book orders sorted. I also checked out some possible accommodation for the trip to Buxton at the end of June when we're coming over for a sacred water conference - obvs! I've also been invited to give a talk in Limerick in March so had a look for somewhere to stay overnight there too. And I'm trying to think of something exciting to do for the St Brigid bank holiday - its the 1500 anniversary of her death on 1st February. I was interviewed about Brigid wells in county Cork - most have gone and those that remain tend to be on private land so a bit of a non-story really. A well will be involved somewhere along the line.
And happy Burns Night to Scottish blippers - the haggis gets it!
