I made a Burns Supper at lunchtime today. A wee touch of heresy never hurt anyone. Junior was my guest. 

No Burns was recited but we did read some of my (late) great uncle's poetry, and from his nativity play. I know it is not the season for nativity plays, but he did write it in Doric, and it was that kind of day anyway. 

Then we went out for coffee and sticky buns. 

What could be better?

This evening I went searching for ideas to tart up the leftovers (no "lipstick on a pig" comments please) and ended up in an intensive online tutorial about sandwich making. 

I might be getting a crush on Priya.
