A Rather Mysterious Feel

I ducked out of work for a few hours this morning to meet with my saddler. He was checking the fit of Jack’s saddle as when he had his physio check up, she was slightly concerned about some tenderness over his withers.

The saddler found nothing wrong with the saddle fit and it didn’t need any adjustments. I have mixed feelings… it’s good that it’s not been uncomfortable for him but not so good that I don’t know what has caused the tenderness….maybe he’s been playing too roughly with his field pal Billy.

On my drive home from the yard there was a heavy mist on top of the hills. I thought it gave the woods a rather mysterious feel!
