Tenerife

Our last full day in Puerto de la cruz. I finished reading Hamnet, an excellent read, while catching some rays by the pool. The collared doves are very cheeky and bold, and a menace to those lounging. I’ve managed 6 swims in the hotel pool this week, but no sea swimming as the surf is up at the local beach (see extra). We’ve enjoyed good weather, good food and good service.

Here’s hoping that there no storms, ice or wind to stop our return flight landing tomorrow at England’s highest airport.
