The Yearl

Well I did get out and had a wander around Mill Field.  This is the weir, called the Yearl,  a place where teenagers like to swim in summer, although there are warning sign not to!  Mill Field is popular for dog walking, so long as they are under control as sheep share this open space.  As you can see it was a beautiful afternoon.  After all the rain we have had the River Derwent was fast flowing.  Fallen trees remain on top of the weir before continuing towards the sea.  
All in all it was a good afternoon.  Hope you all have a good weekend.
