Rural Tranquility

A lovely peaceful day, with a fairly sunny afternoon that was perfect for a walk on the outskirts of the village. Still too much slippery mud to get into the woods, but plenty of open countryside to enjoy. As my extra shows, on one path at the edge of a field I came across a full set of feathers on the ground - looks like a sparrowhawk has been having a feast. The ditches are still very full, and I brought back quite a bit of the fields stuck fast to my boots.
