Baby Hawk

I woke up at 9am to the sound of the breakfast bell. Super country. Andrew's little brother took Arthur and I for a tour of the land on the ATV. We went down through the woods off-road and onto the other side of the property. Then down and up the dirt roads for a bit. It's all super cute. Saw some cows and horses.

A little while later someone noticed a baby bird trying to fly off the roof, unsuccessfully. It fell off the roof in front of us and just stood there looking at us for a long time. It didn't chirp at all and didn't know how to fly away. We fed it and gave it water and tried to teach it how to fly. Little progress was made. Arthur, Kate, and I went back to Binghamton before everyone so I can't tell you if this bird has a happy ending or not.

I want to buy a barn after this weekend. So much fun.
