First daffs of the year

I treated myself when I was at Tesco getting tulips to thank my cat feeders.  It’s taken quite a few days for them to open.  What a treat. I’ve posed them in a kind of still life- inspired by blipper Hyperion. As opposed to just snapping them where they were, on the table. 
I’ve had a chores kind of a day - quite a lot of cleaning - including the kitchen floor, on my hands and knees, with a scrubbing brush.  So dirty, from muddy paws. Enjoyed listening to the women’s tennis final in Australia. And spent a lot of time reading my ‘can’t put it down’ book.
