Seaside

I woke up feeling like a coiled spring - it had to go somewhere so OH got the brunt of it unfortunately.  He went out for a walk while I spoke to my sister on the phone.  I felt better afterwards and we made peace when he got home and then headed off to the coast for a walk.  The sun was shining and it was silly to be stuck indoors feeling glum.

Whitstable was busy and we wandered and had a cup of tea in Whitstable Castle (whoever knew?). Not sure why I bothered with the cake which was not very nice but the coffee was good and served in a proper cup.  Shame about the sticky tables?

We walked and bumped into ex work colleague and chatted and heard about her family's trials with the Big C - sister has colon cancer and she is being treated for skin cancer.  

Home for roast beef and a glass of wine.

Glad the day finished (typing this at 4.30) better than it started.
