Woops

Always a hazard of not getting enough flame at the start of lighting  the fire.. ! Splutter, splutter... 

A quiet day and so grateful for having a cleaner who came and sorted out the mess left by me not doing any housework or tidying for the past few days.. my husband did run around to do the sorting but to know it is clean again is wonderful and it looks nicer too.  

I am so grateful also for my January sewing project.. and wonder how bereft I will be when it is finished (tomorrow) IT has been a lifesaver as I sit for most of the day with my leg raised.. it is helping it so am loathed to stand too long.  I did manage to make some quick soup today.. but other than that.. leg up and sewing
