Can You Tell?

I've just spent £100 on having a new battery fitted to my laptop - can you tell the difference??  No? - neither can I  ......but ..... according to the computer's internal diagnostics it was long overdue..... who am I to disagree..
I now have to 'condition' the battery by running it down to 10% then charging it up to 99% (what's wrong with 100%) - and do this five times then all should be ok.  Dire warnings not to skimp this procedure - if I do the battery life will be seriously shortened.......
