MM: Traveling

Thanks to steveng for hosting mono Monday this month. A job well done.

The theme for this week is ‘traveling.’ I had an appointment at the United Community Health Center clinic. In the parking lot was the van which picks up patients who have no transportation. I thought it might be good for the challenge.

Besides the aforementioned appointment, I had a DEXA (bone density test). The tech asked me if I’ve had any broken bones since I was 40 years old. Where to begin? Ha!

In other news…It looks like I lost the first pound of the 12  I’m aiming for this year. The tortoise catches the pizza!

A man goes into a hotel, and asks the manager how much it is for a room? The manager says, “$100 regular and $15 if you make your own bed.”

Excitedly, the man says, “OK then, I’ll make my own bed.”

“Sounds good,” says the manager. “I’ll go get you some nails and wood.“
