At the lake

The Wide on Wednesday theme is "an understated subject in monochrome".  I was down near Canoa Lake (some people call it a pond) so I stopped there to try to find something. I came up with this dry red yucca hanging near the shore.  I'm hoping it fits the theme.  Thanks to steveng for hosting this week.

The only other thing I did on this bitter day was to go out for lunch with a dozen other members of the singles group.  The food was excellent and the service was the best we've had anywhere. A good time was had by all.  The forecast rain never materialized.  Bummer!
