New from Old

Thank goodness it was dry this morning. No fun indoors with a scheduled power cut all day. We checked out out a walking route for the Tuesday crowd and a potential lunch venue. All good so far. Rain started in buckets at 2pm,  - go home and see  if the power is back on. No - out again - Wilfs in Staveley for coffee and cake. Back home 3.30pm still no power.  Wood burner goes on, book read with a head torch. Power comes back on at 4.30.  
It's nice and warm now, I'm going to wimp out of night orienteering in the rain.   Blip is a wonderful old tree on my route  this morning.
