Another blanket

The blanket I was making in this blip was finished, wrapped up and sent to my nephew,  just 3 weeks after his baby was born. They were amazed it was home made. I've started another one, just in case although I've not heard of any babies on the way just yet. You might get to see the finished article this time. 
The pattern book I'm using has the instructions for 90 different strips using different stitches and techniques. The purple and white strips demonstrate a technique called mosaic crochet which I've not tried it before. I'm having a  lot of fun. I crochet when watching the TV which I regard as a waste of time on the whole. This works fine until I have to read subtitles.
