A very stormy afternoon and evening with rain battering the front of the house and water dripping down the chimney

We shut the curtains at 4 and listened to Choral Evensong on Radio.

Then back to our current  favourite Bruno Cremer as Maigret - French language version but very easy to read subtitles, seen on  Talking Pictures TV Tuesdays at 9pm or re-runs of earlier series at 2am same day
