Snowdrops in the Churchyard

It's my birthday today and I'm officially now an 'old age pensioner' and can apply for my free bus pass.  I'm a bit puzzled how that has happened as I'm not even middle-aged yet!  After a happy time opening cards and presents from my lovely friends and family I took a walk into town.  The sun was shining, the birds were singing and I took my camera along to try and capture the beauty of the snowdrops in the churchyard. I used a double exposure to give them a slightly more dreamy look.

M and I are off to 'Meadowsweet' tonight, our favourite restaurant.  Happily they are only a ten-minute walk away so no need to use the car.  Five courses await...diet tomorrow.
