Chefs at Work

I had a fab birthday today. Lots of lovely cards, presents and flowers. W and I were unable to go to yoga this morning, sadly it was cancelled as our teacher was poorly, bless her.

Instead W invited me for a cuppa and had made a Battenberg cake, a favourite of mine as I’m particularly fond of marzipan. So I spent a happy hour there chatting with her and JohnRH.

M and I went to our favourite restaurant for dinner. My main blip is of the chefs busily working in the kitchen. We are so lucky to have this within walking distance of home.

The extra is of the canapés, many and varied, and all delicious.
