Sad sight.

While walking the coastal path at Culross we came across a dead whale beached about a mile from the village.it is, apparently, a Fin Whale some 17 meters (55 feet) long and the decision has been taken to let it decompose naturally and provide a food source for many coastal creatures. 
Pretty chilly in the breeze along that coast but that was maybe a good thing when you think about it!
