Seeking an escape from the wind and rain this afternoon we set out towards Stirling and struck lucky. The clouds rolled back, the rain went with them and the sun shone. Still windy but with the mercury showing 13C, I couldn’t complain. Those big grey clouds were still lurking over the “Awfuls” (Ochils) and looked quite dramatic.
Annoyingly, as we returned home the clouds rolled back in and that relentless rain with them.
Earlier, MaggieD had been clearing Chloe’s cupboard and some forgotten toys were re-discovered. Poor Mr Duck (today’s extra) took a severe pounding but survived to play another day.
