Early rhubarb

At least as definite a sign of spring as snowdrops .. in the Botanics.  

The first lot of contractors arrived and we were able to leave them to it to get out to walk, in a cold West wind, by the Water of Leith path (it's running high) to Inverleith. All six swans still on the pond. Back by the North side of the gardens to review the vegetables; there's been a lot of clearing out of beds. In by the George V park. 

Four more lots of contractors, a delivery, then a Zoom annual meeting in the afternoon. Supper was a little late.
