Wild goose chase

The day started with an amazing sunrise (spotted while I made tea to take back bed!).  OH was on a mission and wanted to get petrol for the mower to cut the grass while it was dry.  He also visited MIL in care home and she was talking about plans for her BIG birthday coming up..........in AUGUST!!!  ffs.  

No.1 and I planned a trip to the fabric shop in Rochester to get supplies to finish the current baby quilt for Natalie and un-named as yet son?  We drove over and parked but it was closed - so cross and what a wasted journey.  However we wandered and had a nice walk.  I drove back to Tooting and had a cup of tea and used her iron to check whether my labels would work with a hotter iron - pleased to say it was a succcess.

Home again - more traffic but I had a podcast (interesting called Million Dollar Lover on BBC Sounds - but overlong and story could have been told in less episodes but in the words of Mastermind 'I've started so I'll finish....'

Home to a quick dinner and a new series 'Morning Show' on Apple - looks like a good one.

Day done and thank goodness it is now February at long last.
