Friday again!

Friday seems to come around more quickly every week and here we are again!

I have had a very long but quietly productive day, plenty pacing. Fibromyalgia pain a little lower than it has been which was most welcome.

Snapped this Blip of a renovation in town. There has been a public vote to name it and the winning name is to be announced towards the end of the month.

I think it looks absolutely stunning despite the cynics. Dumfries High Street needs significant regeneration but at least this is a small step in the right direction. 

Many, many years ago it housed a coffee shop/sit in bakery called Bakers Oven which I occasionally frequented when I was much younger. 

Recently, I learnt that many moons ago it housed one of the local newspapers, The Dumfries and Galloway Standard - news to me! History has always fascinated me.

I got full marks on my Duolingo music lesson today (piano/keyboard) which I was incredibly pleased with, plenty life admin completed before lunchtime and caught up with my emails and added further commitments and appointment dates to my diary for the next couple of months.

Still working my way through the Duolingo Ukrainian course and enjoying it too despite finding it a little more challenging than the other languages I can speak.
