Monster Lilies

View from my position collapsed on the ground under the lily pot after a non-too-successful visit from the in laws.

A couple of 'difficult' conversations (me being told off for being a rubbish mum, but in polite 'around the houses' language) combined with the kids acting at being just a couple of precocious spoilt little brats, and no Mr B to mediate/take some of the flak, made for a truly unpleasant experience. And my flip flops broke and I fell up the stairs and hurt my hands. And I STILL haven't had a glass of wine.

Really really really fed up.

Still, the lilies are particularly beautiful this year. Even from underneath.
