Enjoying the snowdrops

I was out early this morning to watch our grandson at his football training. He has certainly developed his skills since l last saw him in these classes. It’s very well done as the children are still very young but all seem to enjoy themselves and progress in many different ways.

After lunch we gave our grandson his birthday present. His birthday isn’t just yet but l will be away for that. He also had the Thomas the tank engine cake l had made earlier and was quite surprised when we sang happy birthday to him. Not surprisingly really. He didn’t object though.

We all went out for a walk in a local park in the afternoon. We found many clusters of snowdrops in the woods which our oldest grandson enjoyed viewing close up.
