A celebrity chef meal

Well, we don't normally go out on a Monday evening but we did tonight.

And to a Nick Nairn restaurant!
(A Scottish celebrity chef,) to a place with a reputation for doing serious damage to your credit card.


How come? Well, we got a chance to eat at his restaurant in the Dunblane Hydro due to a whole series of fluke circumstances - my local health club offered a generous voucher to eat there because they have been closed for a couple of weeks for refurbishment.

Added to which we got our drinks free because we had been kept waiting for over half an hour.

I had venison cooked to perfection. Well it certainly made a change from our usual frugal Monday evening meal.
