Look who turned up in Paris
Got up very early to pick up Martin from the Megabus. We then napped til a more sociable time and I popped out to the bakery to get a mille feuille and a baguette. I then made lunch. Lots of Martin's favourite things as a graduation 'present'. Wouldn't have bothered buying anything but strawberries and melted chocolate had I known how much fun he'd have attempting to make the 'perfect' strawberry dipped in chocolate.
We then headed to 'Le dernier bar avant la fin du monde' where played a game related to Le Petit Prince where we made planets before Becky and Mairead arrived and we played Ticket to Ride or Adventures of Rail as the French had translated it once then translated it back again. I quite enjoyed it, mainly because no one else was trying to build trains in the areas I was. This is Martin on his slightly precarious chair.
We then headed to the pub quiz where we met Nikki, François and Simon. It was lots of fun and Martin did the maths question so I didn't have to. He even got it right. We did threaten to take his degree away if he didn't.
